Changing the contents of the registry

To change the contents of the registry with any purpose in accordance with our wishes, actually steps - steps that do almost the same. The following will be exemplified a registry change yng used to eliminate all the icons on the desktop. 

1. Run Run by clicking the Start menu (on the bottom left corner of the screen) and select Run

2. Enter''regedit''(without the quotes) and press Enter or OK button.

If successful, it will display the following image.

If your registry is locked (shown below), do the trick 2 (open the registry editor that is locked) as shown below
3. HKEY_CURRENT_USER> Software> Microsoft> Windows> CurrentVersion> Policies> Explorer 
That is, you have to do this command by performing the steps - these steps:


a. Double-click HKEY_CURRENT_USER

4. Create a new DWORD Value and give name NoDesktop. how: Double click on the mouse, then click New and select DWORD Value.

5. Double click on NoDesktop and insert value 1 in vakue data

Remarks: to get the results we have to log off the system, then log on again. Now that you have managed to remove the icon on your computer desktop. However, what if we want to its original state? The trick is easy, that you just delete the new DWORD that you give the name NoDesktop earlier. Well, hopefully with the example above, you will not find it difficult to tamper with another registry. You can freely windows changes your own liking.
